Mother Cabrini was declared Blessed on November 13,1938. The decree of Canonization was signed by PopePius XII, on January 11, 1944; due to the World War the ceremonies were delayed until July 7, 1946 when she was cannoized in Rome the first Saint of the United States.
The Feast Day of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini ( Mother Cabrini) is celebrated on November 13th.
Many favors are reported by people who have recourse to
Mother Cabrini's intercession.
This Shrine was dedicated by the Bishop August 31, 1947.
